I think that a major advantage of living away from your family is that you become more responsible in terms of tradition/culture wise. During festival time, when I was in my home; I never bothered about getting up early in the morning and prepare things for rituals or Pooja. But today I woke up early and I tried to do Pooja in the same manner in which my mother used to do. I am not a very religious person but I love to follow all the Indian traditions and for me it means a lot.
