Day after tomorrow is "Ganesh Chaturthi" and me and my friend has decided to celebrate this auspicious occasion by establishing Lord Ganesha idol in our flat for 10 days. I don’t know much about the pooja which needs to be performed for the worship of Lord Ganesha. But what I believe is that feelings are more important for God than the rituals…
I am excited about this festival as for this I have to decorate mandir in our flat. I love to organize things in a systematic order. In my home also at the time of festivals like navratras, diwali etc, I used to decorate the whole house with flowers, candles, diyas, rangoli etc. This is the first time in Hyderabad I have decided to celebrate occasions like this so enthusiasm comes automatically.
I have also learned the recipe of modak which is a favorite sweet of Ganeshji from my Maharastrian friend so I will try to prepare the same during the festival J J J

My Mother...

Who is she? A friend or a guide,
Oh! She is like a god to me,
Who is always by my side,
Her looks, her face,
Her feelings and her smile
Do hold the potential to encourage me to move miles over miles.
She is with me, all the while,
When I am happy, she is reflected by my smile.
When I am sad, she is the one to console me, make my spirit high,
Persuade me to do the best and forget the rest
Her trust, her love, warmth and affection are my greatest wealth,
Which will accompany me, when problem of life will I have to dealt,
We understand each other unspoken feelings and thoughts,
Our strong bond of trust is like a rope,
With which is attached my love and hope...

All that glitter is not gold !!!

Gold is a precious metal, which glitters beautifully. But it does not mean that everything that glitters is gold. Outwardly a man may look innocent but he may be cruel at heart. The face is not the index of the mind. Appearances are generally deceptive. A person with a beautiful face may hide an ugly heart. Sometimes, a gentle hearted person appears to be a rogue. But in fact he is not. The face does not speak anything about the mind.
Real beauty is not the physical beauty all the time. It lies in the human character and the heart. Physical beauty is short lived; it fades away too soon. The beauty of the heart on the other hand gives eternal joy, in which an overgrowing gentle heart and nobility of character are the hallmarks of one’s personality.
The real test of man lives in his deeds and his words; in his character and not in his appearance. A highly fashionable person may be mistaken to be a stupid rustic. We should be guided by the factual thing and not by the fictitious looks. We should not accept things as they appear but know them thoroughly before we accept them.

There is some time in the departure of my flight. So I am utilizing my time in writing a blog post at Delhi airport. My post will be incomplete without the mention of few interesting people which I met during my train voyage from Hyderabad to Lucknow. Just adjacent to my berth, one newly married couple was sitting. They nonstop talking to each other at a very high pitch and in every 10-15 minutes the girl has to give explanations for small-2 things.  Oh God! Why sometimes people do not want to give space in a relationship. Seeking justification for even minute things indicates your immaturity or proves that you won’t trust your partner. Overall the entire trip was awesome. I spent quality time with my family in Lucknow and Noida as well. First time I saw Arnav. He was so cute. I met my college friends in Delhi as well. One of my friends got engaged recently. So our entire time was spent in teasing him. Friends are really indispensable part of our life. We can share our secrets with them and can pull their legs without any fear. Today I am going back to Hyderabad. Feeling a little bit low but I don’t want to show it to anyone. This is one of the advantages of living alone; you can become a master at concealing your true emotions. I have to shut down my laptop; boarding for my flight has started now. In the next 2 hours, again the same 10am to 7pm life is going to be started in Hyderabad....

Finally my leaves are approved and I am going home next week. Feeling great because I will see my little champ...Oops sorry I have kept his name 'Arnav' which means ocean. I am excited about this trip because I have learned many new recipes this time and planning to give pleasant surprise to my mother. The credit goes to my friend cum flatmate 'Shweta'. I have learned many good cooking tips from her. Every weekend we try to prepare some new dishes by adopting different hit and trial methods. Need to start shopping for 'Arnav' and 'Aastha'.  Both these kids mean a lot to me. I am also planning to meet my old friends in Delhi so eagerly waiting for this coming Friday as I will get liberty from continuously sitting in front of computer, project deadline, meetings, calls, KT and training sessions for one week J J J

Follow your Dreams....

Follow your dreams
And the day comes when they will follow you.
Always remember this quotation,
You will achieve your destination.
Success can’t be achieved in shortcut
Pure success is achieved by strong will power and determination and,
After hard work the success which you will get will be worthwhile and will give you
Real pressure
