Life is beautiful......

Today I read the following beautiful poem written by Mary Anne Radmacher
Live with intention.
Walk to the edge.
Listen hard.
Practice wellness.
Play with abandon.
Laugh.
Choose with no regret.
Appreciate your friends.
Continue to learn.
Do what you love.
Live as if this is all there is.

Isn’t so true? We are so busy in our monotonous lives that sometimes we forget to experience the beauty of life...In this constantly varying material age, we frequently complain that we are driven by the force of circumstances... I think life is too short...one should enjoy every moment of it ... Call your family members/friends and express your feelings towards them...how much they are important in your life...feel the beauty of nature,  make reason of someone’s smile...do whatever you want in your life because pata nahin kal ho na ho....:)

From the past few days, I am feeling tired. Normally I enjoyed any task, which is given to me at my workplace. The sudden feeling of tiredness raised alarm in my mind. It made me think whether it's the physical work/mental work /or the work that I don't like made me feel so?
I think third case is applicable to me. Currently, I am busy in the preparation of a big document. Daily I have to do tough mental exercise to complete that work within stipulated period of time.
I believe that it's the interest in your work determines your tiredness level. You never feel tired if you read a big novel if reading is your hobby. But reading course books may make you feel tired. When I was a child, daily I gave new explanations to my mom to avoid studies because it makes me feel exhausted. But gardening or travelling never makes me feel tired because these are my hobbies.
Feeling tired is nothing but a mind generated thought. When we are doing things of our interest, our energy level automatically increases and whenever we have to do something that we don't like, our mind makes us feel tired.

"I cannot control my destiny, I trust my soul, and my only goal is just to be”.
                                                                            - By   Johnathan Larson

In our day to day life very often we come across this word destiny. Whenever something is not happening according to our expectations we use this word “don't worry it might be not in your destiny”. Whenever we are confused about our decision we leave the matter in the hands of divine intervention. What I believe is that it’s not the destiny, but your attitude towards your life determines your fate. I know sometimes it is very difficult to take any decision, but ultimately we are responsible for our decisions not our destiny. But this word is a tool that gives us strength to take conclusion on a particular matter.......

'Work is Worship'

Today I have seen this thought posted near the cash counter of one departmental store. This thought made me realize that if we really do our work (role) sincerely whether as an employee, a daughter, a father, a wife, a husband,  the happiness we get is just incomparable. Recently, I got an opportunity to publish the first newsletter for my EHS vertical. I worked hard to make it perfect. Last week when it was released for circulation, the delight I got was just incomparable.

I believe that it is not the kind of work that matters but how we do it. Sometimes we cannot change the present situation we are in but by performing our work meticulously we can definitely make our life better. So when you are going to make your life good?

Are you happy with your work???

Today one of my college friends called me. He is doing job in one R&D Company and is not happy with his current job. He was very depressed and wants to leave the company ASAP. In the entire conversation, I tried to console him and advised him to keep looking for a change. But, after that I realized that how important is to be happy with your work since we spend most of the time there. If you are happy with your work, your productivity will automatically goes up. However if you are not satisfied, then definitely you will not feel good, your energy level, productivity, enthusiasm goes down, which is not at all good for your personal as well as professional life.
Most of the people are not happy in what they are doing and sometimes they even don’t know that what will make them happy. There are lots of people who want to start their own business, but because of fear of failure they never start it. What I feel is that it is natural human tendency. We never want to come out of our comfort zone. We are often get struck by negative thoughts, What if I fail? Will I able to get a new job again? Can I really do it? And so on…
I am a lucky person because I know what I want from my life. I love my work and want to learn new things in my field.
Are YOU happy with your JOB???
