Today finally I have completed third read of this year, “Can love happen twice”? The first and second reads were “Siddhartha” and “Body language in the work place”, which means I read one book per month not bad at all!!!
This novel is again a simple love story by “Ravinder Singh” although not as much heart touching as his first book “I too had a love story”. The end of the book is too dramatic. But this book beautifully describes the feelings of Ravin when he met Simar and his struggle to accept his feelings for her. It is so true in our real life too you cannot control your feelings; they stimulate unintentionally for someone special in your life.
This book fairly describes the mindset of today’s generation towards love and commitment through the characters of Ravin and Simar. I didn’t like the character of Simar may be because in real life I don’t think any girl can be so materialistic / ambitious in nature and it is very hard for anyone to break the heart of a person who truly loves you.
Well it is a novel only far away from any reality. But I truly believe that if you love someone sincerely then it should be unconditional only. If you place different conditions in front of him/her then it is deal or contract only. Overall this entire book is a onetime read only….
